Just before 11pm, Montgomery County dispatch put out the call for a dwelling in the 1700 block of Ziegler Road in Marlborough Township. Units on the initial dispatch were 42 (Green Lane), Squirt 71,Tower and Squad 65 (Pennsburg), Engine 72 (Tylersport) and Bucks Tanker 58 (Trumbauersville).

Upon responding the County advised that they were getting multiple calls for a attatched garage on fire. Squirt 71 took to the road with a crew of 5. Shortly thereafter Chief 65 reported a well involved house and requested the first in engine drop a supply line from Upper Ridge and Zeigler Roads.

The County advised Squirt 71 of those orders. The Squirt arrived first in, laid 600′ of 5″ supply line and went into service with both 2″ foam lines. An additional 1 3/4″ line was also pulled from the Squirt. Engine 72 nosed into the Squirt and also deployed 2 attack lines while Tower 65 staged behind the Squirt and sent their manpower to the front of the home. QRS 71 also responded with a crew of 4.

Command requested the North zone of the tanker task force to respond. Shortly thereafter most of the tankers were recalled due to a quick knock by the first arriving units.

Crews operated for just over 3 hours before clearing. Thumbs up to the first arriving crews for a nice stop !
